“It can never be ruled out, and I emphasized this, that this includes in the Sumy direction. The enemy can at any moment, even though he does not have sufficient forces, try to do something similar, as is now happening in the Kharkov direction . direction precisely in order to stretch the front line, the line of active combat operations and actually stretch the defense forces of our country,” Demchenko said.

Demchenko recalled that the length of the border with the enemy is quite long. “Only in the Sumy region - more than 560 kilometers. And, in fact, even attracting the forces that we have, which we can attract there, we must maintain our powerful defense, because the enemy prevails in technology, and in means of destruction, and regarding personnel, unfortunately,” said the speaker of the State Border Service.
