The situation at the front: the enemy is increasing the intensity of assault operations in two directions

The Kurakhove and Siversk directions remain the hottest spots on the frontline. The enemy is increasing the intensity of assault operations there.

This is stated in the operational structure of the General Staff as of 16:30 on Thursday, May 30. In total, the number of military clashes during the day has now increased to 69.

It is noted that in addition to the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy is increasing the intensity of assault operations in Kurakhove and Siversk. However, Ukrainian soldiers inflict fire on the enemy and take all necessary measures to prevent a breakthrough of our defense.

Since the beginning of the day, Russian terrorists have already carried out mortar attacks five times from the territory of the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation on the villages of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

Situation at the front

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy has so far dropped 10 guided aerial bombs. In particular, two CABs launched from the area of Korocha, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, hit the Ukrainian settlement of Yurchenkove.

In the Kupyansk sector, an attack by the invaders near Sinkivka was repelled. A firefight continues in the area of Myasozharivka. Russians have attempted five assaults since the beginning of the day. The aggressor launched an air strike at our positions near Serhiivka using six unguided missiles.

The number of combat engagements in the Siversk sector increased to ten over the last day. Fierce fighting continues in the areas of Rozdolivka and Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction there is a military clash near Andriivka. The enemy in this direction tried to break through our defenses a total of eight times. The situation is under control.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian terrorists launched strikes with four CABs on Toretsk, and on the village of Druzhba with 10 unguided missiles.

In the Pokrovsk direction the number of battles continues to remain the highest. Here the enemy has already made 18 offensive attempts. Five military clashes continue in the Novooleksandrivka area. Also, our soldiers continue to repel the aggressor at Yevhenivka and Umanske.

In the Kurakhove direction, where the total number of Russian assaults has reached 15, the hottest battles continue in the area of the city of Krasnohorivka. The invaders dropped three CABs on Karlivka, two on Vodyane, and hit Ilyinka with another such bomb.

In the Vremiv direction, the enemy is attacking Urozhayne with the support of aviation - two CABs were used in the village.
