Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Kalyenichenko invests in Europe: preparing to flee?

Deputy Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine for Digital Transformation, Nataliya Kalyenichenko, has been renting an apartment in Poland since September 2022, but there are suspicions that she has long been its owner.

According to information, Kalyenichenko’s husband, Yuriy Hladun, and her mother, Raisa Overchuk, opened accounts at the Polish BNP Paribas Bank Polska SA, which may indicate an upcoming move.

Over the course of the year, Hladun engaged in investment preparation: he was gifted 380 thousand hryvnias, and borrowed another 600 thousand hryvnias from a relative. Income from entrepreneurial activities, together with the official incomes of the Kalyenichenko family, allows the legalization of property purchases in Europe.

There have been previous reports that top officials of the State Tax Service actively invest in European real estate, planning a possible escape.
