The High Anti-Corruption Court extended until November 19 the obligations imposed on Kyiv Court of Appeals Judge Viktor Hlynyanyi. NABU and SAPO suspect him of receiving an illegal benefit of $8,300.

This decision was made on September 19 by the High Anti-Corruption Court.

As known, the anti-corruption court arrested Hlynianyi with an alternative of 5 million UAH bail. These funds were deposited, and he was released from custody, signing the following obligations: appearing at each summons; not leaving Kyiv without permission; reporting any change of residence and/or place of work; refraining from communicating with suspects and witnesses; surrendering his foreign passports for safekeeping and wearing an electronic bracelet.

Later, the electronic bracelet was removed from Hlynianyi, and he was allowed to move freely within Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Chernihiv region. The SAPO prosecutor requested an extension of these obligations.

«The motion of the SAPO prosecutor to extend the period of obligations imposed on (Hlynyanyi. – ed.) – granted. To extend the term of obligations imposed on the suspect, as provided by part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code, until November 19, 2024, inclusive,» the decision states.

Also, the court extended until November 19 the obligations imposed on another judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeals, Yuriy Slyva. He is obliged to: appear at each summons; not leave the city of Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Chernihiv region without permission; report any change of residence and/or place of work; refrain from communicating with suspects and witnesses, and also surrender his foreign passports for safekeeping.
