The Appeals Chamber of the HACC upheld the bail of an official of Kharkivoblenergo

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court did not change the bail amounting to 1.36 million UAH, which was set as a preventive measure for the head of the material and technical supply department of JSC "Kharkivoblenergo" Hennadiy Fisun, whom NABU and SAPO suspect of being involved in the embezzlement of 12 million UAH from the enterprise.

This decision was made by the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court on September 25.

It is known that the anti-corruption court applied a preventive measure in the form of bail amounting to 1.36 million UAH to the official of Kharkivoblenergo, Fisun. He was also assigned the following obligations: to appear at every request; not to leave the settlement where he is registered and resides without permission; to report any change of residence and/or workplace; to refrain from communicating with other suspects in the case; and to surrender his passports for safe-keeping. The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office filed an appeal against this decision.

«The appeal is to be dismissed, and the decision of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated 28.08.2024 is to be left unchanged,» - says the decision.

In addition, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left unchanged the preventive measure for the executive director of the energy company "Energo-Time," Oleksandr Kozyr, in the form of a 3 million UAH bail. He is also obliged: to appear at the first request; not to leave Kharkiv without permission; to report any change of residence and/or workplace; to refrain from communicating with other suspects in the criminal proceedings; to surrender his passports for safe-keeping; and to wear an electronic bracelet.
