The heating season in Pokrovsk is unlikely to start.

This was stated by the head of the Pokrovsk CMA, Serhiy Dobryak.

«Due to the lack of gas, water, and electricity, the heating season is under threat. And most likely, it will not happen», he noted.

According to the head of the CMA, currently, a little more than 12,000 people live in Pokrovsk, including 70 children.

Meanwhile, the evacuation has slowed down a bit. Previously, about a thousand people left the city per day, now it’s – up to 300 people.

Pokrovsk is located 8 km from the front line.
