People who are registered for military service and updated their personal data by July 17 have started receiving notifications in the Reserve+ app requiring them to visit the TRC because violations of the registration rules were detected.

This was reported by lawyer Roman Symutin.

He provides an example that his clients, who installed Reserve+ and received a notification about successful data updates, started receiving messages with the following content: “A violation of military registration rules has been detected. Please contact the TRC at your place of registration or residence to clarify the data.”

“Honestly, this is the biggest TRC scam I’ve ever seen, not counting MMM,” writes the lawyer, “Sending a notification in the Reserve+ mobile app about a detected violation of military registration rules requiring a visit to the TRC is displayed both in the mobile app, which a person shows to TRC employees or police officers, and in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Reservists, and in the ’Oberih’ database, which TRC employees use to verify the status of data on reservists in public places and checkpoints. The fact that a man diligently and timely updated his data will no longer matter. When checking the military document and comparing it with the data in the Unified State Register of Reservists, TRC employees and police officers will see the latest entry indicating that the man has a registration violation, which required contacting the TRC but he did not do so. The next step in this scam is the detention and forced delivery of the man to the TRC.”

Lawyer Rostyslav Kravets confirmed to "Krayina" that TRCs are actively mobilizing those who have timely updated their data but did not appear at the MMC.

In such cases, TRCs send reservists to medical commissions, and those who passed the MMC are sent to training centers. According to the lawyer, he increasingly encounters situations in his practice where, after receiving a summons to update data, a person goes to the TRC and is immediately mobilized there.
