"Ukrzaliznytsia" has launched a "special" train on a popular route

"Ukrzaliznytsia" has organized a new train between Kyiv and Kamyanets-Podilskyi. This became possible due to the growing demand for tickets in this direction. However, the train will be temporary – trips will only occur on select days at the end of October. The ticket price for a sleeper class (for the October 31 trip from Kyiv) on this train is 214.93 UAH.

The train launch was announced by "Ukrzaliznytsia" itself. They noted that the trains are scheduled for the following dates:

• October 24;
• October 28;
• October 31.

"We are increasing the offer of seats during the fall school break and scheduling additional runs of train No. 239/240 Kyiv – Kamyanets-Podilskyi – Kyiv. It might be useful for residents of other cities planning a trip to Khmelnytskyi or a trip to Kyiv from Khmelnytskyi or Vinnytsia," the message states.

Train Schedule

The train will depart from Kyiv at 08:26. Arrival in Kamyanets-Podilskyi – at 17:20.

Departure from Kamyanets-Podilskyi – at 11:35. Arrival in Kyiv – at 19:48.

Tickets for the train are available in sleeper, compartment, and luxury classes. The price depends on the class. For the October 31 trip (departing from Kyiv):

• sleeper class tickets cost 214.93 UAH;

• compartment class – 313.58 UAH;

• luxury class – 677.52 UAH.

In September, the most popular train among Ukrainians was train No. 128 Zaporizhzhya – Lviv. It transported over 50,000 passengers during the month. According to "Ukrzaliznytsia," the top 3 most popular trains also included high-speed directions to Przemyśl:

• No. 705/706 Kyiv – Przemyśl, 49,000 passengers;
• No. 715/716 Kyiv – Przemyśl, 46,000 passengers.

Overall, the company transported 2.2 million passengers in September. However, it is noted that this month’s passenger traffic dynamics traditionally "decline compared to the summer season".

"During the low season, railway workers are already preparing for the winter peak of transportation, conducting necessary infrastructure repairs and working on the next update of the rolling stock," the message emphasizes.
