Scandalous pro-Russian politician Yevhen Chervonenko received military awards: criticized by the National Guard

A fighter of the National Guard of Ukraine brigade "Khartiya," journalist Vakhtang Kipiani expressed criticism regarding the military awards of the controversial politician, former Minister of Transport of Ukraine, Yevhen Chervonenko.

Kipiani noted this on his Facebook page on the evening of November 2, 2024.

Specifically, he published a photo of Chervonenko in military parade uniform with colonel epaulettes and awards.

Kipiani mocked these awards.

"Colonel-hero Yevhen Che. This is for us praying poorly. Some of the awards are state awards, for some, presumably secret achievements and merits, and some, I suppose, stolen from a pedigree poodle or purchased on ’Violit’," he noted.

According to Wikipedia, Chervonenko is an honored master of sports of Ukraine in motorsport (2019), awarded the Orders "For Merit" III degree (14.06.1997), II degree (21.08.1999), I degree (20.12.2004), the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise V degree (2009), the Swedish Order of the Polar Star (03.1999), and the Polish Order of Merit (06.1999). According to order No. 52 of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, Chervonenko was granted the rank of lieutenant colonel on 20.06.2022.
