In the Vinnytsia region, a thermal power plant suspended operations following an attack by the occupiers

After the Russian shelling on November 17, the Ladyzhynska TPP in Vinnytsia region temporarily ceased operations. Damaged equipment at the station is being replaced.

This was reported by the press service of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration on Monday, November 18.

It is noted that currently, specialists from Ukrenergo are actively working on eliminating the consequences. While the Ladyzhynska TPP is not functioning, debris removal and repair of damaged equipment are being carried out. The complete de-energization of the station has caused a power outage in 430 localities.

«As a result of the prompt response by Vinnytsiaoblenergo PJSC, the de-energized localities, which include about 222,000 residents, have been connected via a backup scheme. At this time, the issue has been partially resolved», – reported Oleksandr Pyshchyk, the Deputy Head of the Regional Military Administration.
