On the Vremivka direction, the presidential brigade stopped the assault

The fighters of the presidential brigade stopped the Russian advance in the Vremivka direction in the Donetsk region.

This was reported by the brigade’s press service.

Preparation to repel the attack began after aerial reconnaissance detected advancing Russian units using armored vehicles with makeshift protection against drones.

Their movement took place near the settlement of Velyka Novosilka, where Russian forces have recently been conducting assault actions, attempting to break the defense of Ukrainian defenders.

This assault was no exception. Russian forces attacked the defenders’ positions from two directions, where the 3rd Mechanized Battalion and the 20th Separate Specialized Battalion of the presidential brigade were holding the defense.

The main losses to the enemy assault groups were inflicted by the units of the strike UAVs "Khymera," "Bulava," and "NOVA."

Thanks to the active work of the external crews, enemy equipment was either burned or abandoned. Enemy attempts to save the equipment also failed, as most of the surviving armored vehicles were destroyed by drones with bomb drops.

The remnants of Russian infantry, due to chaotic actions, began retreating to the nearest forest belts, where mortars and drones began operating.

A new feature in clearing the forest belt was a drone equipped with a machine gun, which destroyed Russian infantry from the air. The drone flew over the forest belt and fired at the remnants of Russian soldiers trying to hide.

Its development was undertaken by specialists from the "Bulava" unit, which is currently actively used against the enemy.
