The agency notes that "European allies" indicated that "the lack of depth (of echeloned defence – ed.) means that it may soon become impossible for Ukraine to continue its actions in the border area of Russia near Kursk."

"The situation in the Kursk region has further escalated due to the arrival of thousands of North Korean soldiers who have come to assist Moscow in its attempt to reclaim land," officials explained.
