In Poltava, criminals paid tribute to law enforcement through the restaurant "Mimino"

The establishment’s owners were visited by NABU and the State Bureau of Investigation.

According to one version, local criminal elements were leaving money at the "Mimino" restaurant for high-ranking officials of the police and prosecution of the Poltava region to carry out their activities without hindrance, reports "Poltavshchyna".

Recently, law enforcement conducted investigative actions at the "Mimino" restaurant, located at 15 Reshetylivska Street in Poltava. According to "Poltavshchyna’s" own sources, bribes were being passed in the restaurant’s banquet hall from the Poltava criminal community to the region’s top law enforcers.

The investigation is being handled by NABU and the SBI. According to one version, criminal elements left money in the "Mimino" banquet hall for high-ranking officials of the police and prosecution of the Poltava region. The latter would later come to personally collect the money. Such a monetary "reward" allowed the criminal environment to carry out its activities without hindrance.

On November 29, searches were conducted in Poltava on entrepreneurs Ihor Erenburg and Ihor Chubar. Ihor Chubar is the founder and owner of LLC "Triumph Retail" and the president of FC "Zorya-Vorskla", while Ihor Erenburg is a co-owner of ST "Leol" and the "Mimino" restaurant. The first is the father-in-law of the second.

Other co-owners of the "Mimino" restaurant include the Nemirovsky family, members of which own a number of businesses, particularly in the fields of construction, furniture production, and bishofit.

Sources close to Ihor Erenburg report that the investigative actions do not concern his activities as a deputy (he heads the budget and finance commission of the Poltava City Council).
