As reported by military blogger, lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign "Alex", today the Russians reached the outer streets of Velyka Novosilka.

To the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region, the occupiers have 7 kilometers left.

This was reported by the serviceman of the 24th Separate Assault Battalion "Aidar", Stanislav Bunyatov with the call sign "Osman".

The military personnel expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that despite a year of relative calm, the direction of Velyka Novosilka was not prepared for defence. Furthermore, due to such an oversight, they might bypass the proper defence lines in the Zaporizhzhya direction, just as it happened in Ocheretyne.

"Seeing the front line weaken, not mining the front edge and not strengthening the fortifications is pure cretinism. If fortifications are built somewhere, it’s civilian contractors who dig unsystematic trenches for the ordered mileage, where it’s easier, not where it’s necessary... Of course, why would these lines be needed in forest belts behind Pokrovsk, Velyka Novosilka, and other key cities if it’s hard to dig there, when they can dig in the middle of a field, 100 kilometers from the front, where the money will be absorbed faster and safer," notes Bunyatov.

According to the military blogger, lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign "Alex", who runs the Telegram channel "Officer", on the stretch from Huliaipole to Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk region), the enemy has noticeably increased offensive actions.

"Don’t think that if Velyka Novosilka is in the Donetsk region, that’s where it all ends. The distance to the borders of the Zaporizhzhya and Dnipropetrovsk regions is very small, considering the pace of the Russians’ advance. The occupiers are already entering Velyka Novosilka and urgent stabilization actions need to be taken, because a failure at the operational level there can be very costly, to the point where the fortifications in Zaporizhzhya could simply be bypassed," reports the "Officer" channel.

This morning, "Officer" reported that the Russians reached the outer streets of Velyka Novosilka. According to the blogger, in recent days the enemy has achieved significant success in the direction of this settlement.

"At the moment the entry into the village is not massive, the enemy has not yet entrenched, but the trend is negative," noted on the "Officer" channel.
