"Minister" of Health of the AR Crimea received suspicion in collaboration activity, - prosecutor’s office
An official from the occupied Crimea has been charged with collaborating with the occupation authorities. She faces up to 10 years in prison.
This was reported by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomy, a suspicion was announced to the acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea appointed by the occupation. Her actions have been classified as collaboration with the occupation authorities (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for a penalty of up to 10 years of imprisonment," the message states.
The investigation established that in June 2024, the Ukrainian citizen accepted the offer from the enemy and voluntarily took the position of "acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea."
In this position, the suspect directly performed the duties of a representative of the aggressor country’s authorities and ensured its activities on the peninsula, the prosecutor’s office added.
