In the Mykolaiv region, air defence overnight shot down 12 enemy UAVs

"On the night of December 28, forces and means of air defence in the Mykolaiv region destroyed 12 Shahed 131/136 type UAVs," the statement said.

On Saturday at 01:20, Russians attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed type drones. As a result of hostilities and the fall of debris from the downed drones, a fire broke out on the roof of a five-story residential building, and dry grass caught fire on the territory of an industrial enterprise.

Both fires were promptly extinguished. In the residential building, the roof was partially destroyed, and windows were shattered. There were no casualties.

In the Mykolaiv district, Russian troops twice shelled the village of Dmytrivka in the Kutsurub community with artillery over the past day. A private house and farm buildings were damaged. There were no casualties.
