Ministry of Defence has implemented new standards for the medical training of military personnel
The Ministry of Defence has approved new standards for pre-medical training for Ukrainian servicemen. They are developed based on combat experience and NATO approaches.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defence on January 8.
The training covers two key standards:
-
Pre-medical aid – what is taught in the TCCC courses. Aid for critical bleeding, breathing disorders, prevention of hypothermia, evacuation of the wounded, and other skills that every serviceman should have.
 -
Basic-level extended pre-medical aid – advanced training focused on providing assistance in complex conditions, ensuring airway patency, maintaining circulation, and methods of moving the wounded. It is intended for military specialists, combat medics, and all officers without exception.

As noted in the department, certified instructors should apply informative-evidence and explanatory-illustrative approaches, as well as interactive tools, including computer equipment and educational mobile applications.
The assessment of knowledge and skills will be carried out using special sheets that combine theoretical questions and practical tasks.
The Ministry of Defence believes that the implementation of these standards will ensure a high level of military training, allowing them to effectively provide pre-medical aid in combat and other extreme situations, preserving the lives and health of their fellow soldiers.
