In Zakarpattia, the TRC refuted the information about the repeat offender and theft
Information has appeared on social networks, allegedly claiming that a mobilized individual stole 27,000 euros from the head of the Zakarpattia TRC when he was taken to the Military Medical Commission. The military registration and enlistment office stated that this information is false.
This is stated in a Facebook post by the Zakarpattia RTRC and SS.
"Information is rapidly spreading on social networks, allegedly concerning the theft of a ’large sum of money’ from premises not specified by the author of the publication, TRC and SS of the Zakarpattia region. We officially declare: there is no confirmation of the mentioned information, and the publication is a complete lie," the statement reads.
The TRC emphasized that the text of the publication shows signs of disinformation, and the use of images and videos from unreliable sources adds a manipulative context. Such actions are aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and creating distrust among citizens towards the activities of the TRC.
Furthermore, as noted by the military registration and enlistment office, the sources spreading false information have repeatedly generated materials with elements of pro-Russian propaganda, which casts doubt on the objectivity of their claims.
"We urge all participants in the communication process not to spread unverified information and to trust only official sources," added the Zakarpattia TRC.
