Military: Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups constantly attempt to infiltrate the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant

Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRG) are constantly trying to infiltrate the aggregate plant in Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region. The enemy uses poor-quality shells obtained from North Korea, which sometimes fail to work and sometimes kill the occupiers themselves at the launch site.

This was reported by the spokesperson of the operational-tactical group (OTG) Kharkiv, Yevhen Romanov. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold the defence despite constant shelling.

"We control this territory (Vovchansk Aggregate Plant. – Ed.). Russian SRGs are constantly trying to penetrate it; they attempt to exert constant pressure in this area, but it is extremely difficult for them to advance or ensure all logistics," the spokesperson said.

Yevhen Romanov added that currently, there is a noticeable decrease in enemy attacks, but the adversary does not stop shelling both the frontline and settlements near the line of contact.

The occupiers use artillery, FPV drones, and attack with aviation.

Also, the Russians use shells from the DPRK, but they are of poor quality and can harm those who launch them.

"They use standard 155-mm North Korean shells, but the quality of these shells is extremely low. They are inaccurate, sometimes fail to work, and sometimes destroy the occupiers who try to use them," Romanov said.
