Vereshchuk: The term for re-examination of the MMC will be extended for those with limited fitness

In Ukraine, the period for re-passing the MMC for those with limited suitability has been extended until June 5th. Therefore, the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRSSC) will not impose fines on those who do not manage to pass the medical commission by February 5th and will not declare them wanted.

This was reported by the Telegram channel of the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Iryna Vereshchuk.

According to her, a working meeting regarding the passage of the MMC by persons with limited suitability was held at the President’s Office today.

Representatives of the Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ministry of Health, Medical Forces Command, as well as the head of the relevant parliamentary committee, Oleksandr Zavitnevych, participated in it.

During the meeting, the urgent need for legislative changes was discussed, which would:

• make re-passing the MMC not mandatory for persons under 25 years of age and those properly recognized as persons with disabilities;
• move the deadline from February 5th to June 5th, the corresponding bill was registered in the Rada today with number 12457.

The organization of processes was also discussed at the meeting so that after the establishment of new deadlines, people could timely pass the MMC.

"It was agreed that until the aforementioned law is adopted, the TRSSC will not impose fines on those who do not manage to pass the MMC by February 5th and will not declare them wanted. The relevant directive will be sent accordingly," Vereshchuk noted.
