The commander of the 429th separate unmanned systems regiment "Achilles" Yuriy Fedorenko stated that in the area of responsibility of several brigades of the regiment in the Kupyansk region: for the last three weeks, the enemy has achieved no gains on the battlefield.

"The ’Achilles’ regiment is operating on two fronts simultaneously. This includes the Kharkiv region towards the Lipetsk community and the settlement of Hlyboke. We cover a significant piece of work. And likewise, the Kupyansk region. In the operational area of several brigades where the "Achilles" regiment conducts reconnaissance and fires at the enemy, for the last three weeks, the adversary has had no battlefield success. Speaking of the Zahryzove direction, from the wedge that arose to Kruglyakivka, the enemy has not achieved success in the recent period," he reported.

Yuriy Fedorenko noted that the advance of the enemy towards Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi was successfully halted.

"The direction of Kolesnykivka is the same, despite constant enemy attempts. These are not isolated attacks. It’s armor—armor failed; they tried on foot—on foot failed; high-mobility equipment, then armor again, and in such a carousel, the enemy tries. He has no success. Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, remember, by November 1st, the enemy expended a considerable amount of resources in an attempt to achieve this result, to reach Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi—it didn’t work out. Then the timelines for the enemy were moved to the New Year, again unsuccessfully. Accordingly, in this sector, the positions of the Defence Forces are held very effectively and persistently. It can be said that the enemy’s advance was successfully halted," said the military officer.

The commander of the 429th separate unmanned systems regiment "Achilles" also mentioned that the situation in the Dvorichna area remains difficult, with heavy battles ongoing.

"If we move higher upstream, the Dvorichna area. The situation is currently quite complex. The enemy, taking advantage of the weather conditions and the terrain, is crossing by rafts and boats towards Dvorichna and trying to secure a foothold on the right-bank bridgehead. Accordingly, Defence Forces are implementing measures to halt the enemy’s advance and prevent the establishment of regular crossings and the formation of a full-fledged bridgehead for further assault actions. Right now, there are complex, heavy battles ongoing," noted Yuriy Fedorenko.
