What cars did Ukrainian prosecutors manage to buy in 2025, - media

In Ukraine in 2025, prosecutors purchased over 80 cars with their own funds. 13 of them are vehicles from 2024, and two are from 2025. The most expensive car among all colleagues this year was bought by Denys Stoyanov, a prosecutor from one of the departments of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

OBOZ.UA analyzed 84 declarations of prosecutors in which significant changes in asset status due to car purchases were reported. The largest amount spent on a car among all his colleagues as of February 17, 2025, was by Denys Stoyanov. On January 31, 2025, he purchased a Volkswagen Touareg 2021. Such a vehicle on online car-selling platforms costs about 2.6 million UAH. The prosecutor declared the purchase of the car for 2.3 million UAH.

Additionally, in 2024 the prosecutor spent almost 1.6 million UAH on purchasing an apartment in Uzhhorod. Denys Stoyanov’s wife, Tetyana, according to his latest declaration, also works in the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

In second place in the ranking of prosecutors who bought the most expensive cars in 2025 is Kamila Kadyrova, a prosecutor of the Boryspil District Prosecutor’s Office in the Kyiv region. She purchased a Lexus ES250 2024 for almost 2.2 million UAH. The prosecutor noted in her declaration for 2023 that she lives in her grandmother’s apartment (indicated as "grandma" in the declaration). She does not own any real estate.

One of the most popular brands among prosecutors is TOYOTA. In 2025, 12 prosecutors chose this brand. For example, since January, prosecutors have purchased four TOYOTA RAV4 vehicles. Inna Chernichenko, a prosecutor from the Poltava Regional Prosecutor’s Office, spent 1.75 million UAH on a TOYOTA RAV-4 HYBRID on February 8, 2025. A similar car, but on February 5, 2025, for 1.7 million UAH, was bought by Andriy Teslenko, a prosecutor from the Office of the Prosecutor General.

15 prosecutors spent over a million UAH on car purchases. The cheapest car added to a prosecutor’s fleet is a VOLKSWAGEN POLO, a 2008 model purchased for 222,000 UAH by Oleh Stelmakh, a prosecutor from the Skole department of the Stryi District Prosecutor’s Office.
