The HACC took the judge of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi court into custody due to failure to post bail
The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has taken into custody the judge of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City Court of the Odesa region, Valentyn Zaveryukha, after he failed to comply with the conditions of the preventive measure.
The judge did not pay the specified bail amount of 3 million UAH, which had been previously set for him. He was detained directly in the courtroom.
In addition, the court appointed an alternative — the option to post bail in the amount of 1.75 million UAH. This decision was made after Zaveryukha could not fulfill the conditions of the previous decision.
The judge is accused of committing crimes related to corruption and is under investigation within the framework of an anti-corruption case.
