At the front, volunteer and defender of Ukraine Anastasiya Yefimova was killed

An activist, volunteer, and defender of Ukraine Anastasiya Yefimova died at the front.

The news of her passing was reported by photographer and volunteer Oleksandra Sidletska.

After her husband’s death in the war, Anastasiya joined the Armed Forces to avenge her beloved against the Russians. She also raised two children on her own, who are now left without a mother.

"Nastya, our girl, died in the war. A mother of two children, an AutoLady (driving school for women – ed.) trainer, an incredibly strong woman – a warrior! Very sorry, there are no words to describe how wonderful you were! My condolences to the family and all relatives, friends who knew Nastya," said Oleksandra.

Memories of the fallen defender were shared by her friend Liliya Shevchenko.

"She gave her life for Ukraine. For each of us. For our sunrises, our freedom, our future. She was and remains bright, strong, free, devoted, genuine. Among those who do not retreat. Among those who do not stay silent. Among those who go to the end – for the sake of others’ lives.

Her heart stopped in battle, but her name will forever remain with us. In our actions, prayers, memory. No one can ever fill the void left by the loss of our Nastya," wrote Liliia.

Volunteer Olha Kakaulina also recalled her last meeting with Anastasiya. She noted that during their farewell, she felt a strong foreboding in her heart. But no one could have stopped the defender from going into battle.

"Thank you for your fight. Thank you for becoming part of my world. You are forever with me. You are in me. You are the four elements at once. You are my unparalleled girl. My infinite source of inspiration. My eternal friend for all times. Now everything is as you wanted, and you are finally together again. Eternal love knows no borders between the earth and the sky. Forever!" added Liliya Nedilko with a heavy heart.
