In Ukraine, more than 100 higher education institutions will be checked for possible schemes of evading mobilization

The State Service for Education Quality, together with the military and law enforcement, is conducting unscheduled inspections of over 100 higher education institutions due to suspicions of facilitating evasion of military service.

According to the agency, in previous years, there were recorded instances of false information being entered into the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (USEDE), delays, or failure to enter data on students of draft age. Violations were also found in the formation of the contingent of postgraduate students and the conduct of their scientific work.

The inspections aim to identify possible violations and abuses.
