Drones attacked Kursk: Russians reported an injured person, damaged hospital, and houses
In the Russian city of Kursk on the night of May 30, during an air raid alert declared in the region, a drone attack allegedly occurred. Officially, the regional authorities reported one injured person.
Specifically, the governor of the region, Alexander Khinshtein, reported a 27-year-old man who was injured while in a car at the time of the attack. According to him, the man sustained shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized.
The authorities note that the city was attacked by one drone, which was allegedly shot down, but the falling debris damaged the windows of the stationary building of Kursk city hospital (however, there were no casualties among the patients). Additionally, several multi-apartment residential buildings were damaged.

In turn, eyewitnesses report several drones, stating that the air defense systems shot down at least four drones, but there were also strikes from drones that were not shot down.
Warning! Usual Russian obscene language!
After the debris from one of the drones fell on the hospital grounds, a fire started, which the authorities also did not report.

Ukrainian defenders have not yet commented on the events in Kursk. However, they reported a strike on the permanent deployment point of the occupiers’ army in the village of Korenevo in the Kursk region the day before.
Korenevo is located more than 40 km from the border with the Sumy region, where, according to the State Border Service, Russia has concentrated about 50,000 military personnel.
