The Chernivtsi Territorial Recruitment Center responded to the volunteer’s accusation of illegal mobilization

The Chernivtsi Regional Territorial Recruitment Center commented on the statements of volunteer Roman Zamriy, who reported that he was mobilized despite having the right to deferment.

According to the TRC, Zamriy was stopped at a checkpoint on June 4 for document verification and clarification of military registration data. The center’s report states that he did not have a legal right to deferment and was deemed fit for service by the military medical commission’s conclusion.

It is also noted that the volunteer was in the premises of the security platoon of the 1st department of the Dniester RTC, and not in a basement as alleged in some reports. The TRC assured that their representatives did not commit any illegal actions towards the citizen.

On June 5, Zamriy was enlisted in the team, and the next day he arrived at the military unit to perform service in his specialty. Regarding the complaints expressed by the volunteer, the TRC reported that they would be investigated, and the command would take necessary measures against the officials if any violations were confirmed.
