Zelenskyy held a Technology Headquarters meeting on drone production

On June 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a Technological Council of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the main topic of which was the production of our UAVs. Ukraine is striving to scale its own potential, particularly in the direction of interceptor drones.

The head of state told about this in his traditional evening address, a video recording of which is available on the YouTube channel of the OP. The President noted that the main thing is that the scale and speed of the development of the field really correspond to the conditions of the war.

"I held a Council, specifically in the field of technology – a Technological Council. There were detailed reports on drones – all aspects. This includes finance, production, and necessary regulatory simplifications. The key goal is to produce the maximum, and precisely those types of drones that are needed on the front line and for the protection of cities, and also – taking into account the development of enemy technologies," Zelenskyy said.

The military command, the Ministry of Defence, and the Ministry of Strategic Industries presented their reports. There was also a detailed report from our intelligence "regarding technological plans and Russia’s intentions."

"I gave several special instructions, but without details for now. However, the result should be evident – an increase in production in Ukraine and for Ukraine," the President noted.

On Friday, a meeting was also held with our diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, and the President’s Office team.

"These have been very busy weeks of our meetings in Europe, as well as in Canada at the G7 summit. There are agreements regarding defense packages and joint production: the UK, the Netherlands, Canada, and other partners. There are cooperation opportunities with America. Many agreements with France and Germany. Everything needs to be clearly implemented. And regarding joint drone production and investments, and our other long-range projects, particularly concerning missiles," Zelenskyy said.

At the end of the address, he reminded about the need to strengthen sanctions.

"I want to thank our partners who are preparing the 18th package of sanctions in Europe. There were new sanction steps by the UK and Canada. We are working on sanctions with all the G7 countries and also with other leading global jurisdictions.

All necessary global sanctions against Russia must be fully implemented and by us, in Ukrainian jurisdiction. Likewise, Ukrainian sanctions against all those who help Russia, against all those who hold or acquire business assets in the temporarily occupied territory and essentially sponsor the occupation, Ukrainian sanctions against such persons must also be fully implemented in key jurisdictions," the head of state emphasized.

It is necessary for Russia’s responsibility for the war and our sanctions pressure to work 100%, not allowing Russia to adapt.

"I thank everyone who helps. I thank everyone who works for Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!" Zelenskyy concluded his address with these words.
