Men aged 17–25 are automatically registered for military service without visiting the recruitment center

In Ukraine, men aged 17 to 25 are automatically registered in the "Oberih" database and placed on military record without the need to visit territorial recruitment centers (TRC).

This is reported by the Ministry of Defence.

The system automatically obtains data about young men from other state registers.

Attendance at the TRC is required only for those who have the right to be removed from military records. In this case, one must personally come to the center with documents that confirm the grounds for removal from the records.

Thus, the process of registering for military service is made automatic for the majority, simplifying the procedure and reducing the burden on the territorial recruitment centers.
