In the Amur Region of Russia, a passenger plane An-24 crashed with 49 people on board.

The plane, which was en route from Khabarovsk to Blagoveshchensk to Tynda, was preparing to land but could not make it on the first attempt, went around for a second try, after which communication with it was lost.

Soon, the burning wreckage was found 15 km from Tynda.
