The mayor of Kamyanske commented on the Russian attack on the city: a maternity hospital and a kindergarten were damaged

Partially destroyed three-story building that was not in use. Nearby, damaged medical facilities. Two people were killed.

Significant damage was sustained by the maternity and therapeutic departments of the 9th hospital in Kamyanske. The roofs of the buildings were destroyed, and all windows were shattered. Several cars in the hospital parking lot were destroyed by fire, reported the city’s head, Andriy Bilousov.

According to him, five residents of Kamyanske were injured.

"All patients have been transferred to other medical facilities. Windows in the dermatovenereological dispensary and children’s clinic have also been shattered. Almost all windows were damaged, doors were broken in Lyceums No. 31 and No. 11, and the 8th gymnasium and Kindergarten No. 2 were also damaged. Residential buildings were affected — 49 buildings were damaged, with over 300 windows shattered," Bilousov said.

He reported that from the first moments, rescuers, police, city services, and volunteers have been working at the scene. He is present at the site of the strike along with the head of the Kamyanske RMA Oleh Hapich.

"Starting at 8:00, a Mobile ASC will begin operating in the green zone on Vіdrodzhennya Avenue (Anoshkina). Specialists will assist in filing for compensation for damaged housing as part of the state program ’eVidnovlennia’," the mayor concluded.

The SES reported that Russians attacked civilian objects in the city and deliberately targeted rescuers who had arrived at the strike site in the Synelnykivskyi district. A truck was burned, but no injuries were reported.
