The court extended the preventive measure for the accomplice of a deputy of the Zakarpattia Regional Council

The Higher Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention period of Ivan Shkvara, the suspected accomplice of the deputy of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Oleksandr Antal, until September 20 and reduced his bail to 7.57 million UAH.

This decision was made by the HACC on July 23.

It is known that the anti-corruption court detained Shkara with an alternative bail of 10.44 million UAH. Later, an NABU detective asked the court to extend the detention of the suspect and keep the bail amount unchanged.

«Partially satisfy the request. Extend the detention period of the suspect (Shkvara, – ed.) until 09/20/2025 inclusive. Determine an alternative preventive measure for the suspect in the form of bail in the amount of 2500 living wages for able-bodied persons, which amounts to a monetary equivalent of 7,570,000 UAH», – the decision states.
