In Kyiv, a shooting occurred near a supermarket: one person is injured, the attacker has been detained

This was reported by the Kyiv police.

The incident occurred around 11:00 PM on Kashtanova Street in the Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv. Passersby informed the police about the shooting near one of the supermarkets.

Law enforcement officers found out that a 46-year-old resident of the capital made a remark to an Audi driver for violating parking rules.

A verbal altercation arose between the men, during which the young driver shot several times in the direction of his opponent, causing facial injuries.

After the shooting, the attacker fled in the car.

What is known about the shooter

According to the orientation, the patrol police quickly found the fugitive.
He turned out to be a 19-year-old Kyiv resident. During the arrest, the weapon used in the crime was seized from him.

Investigators detained the young man under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

A criminal case was opened on this fact under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - hooliganism involving the use of weapons.
