Called for a fair peace agreement: President of Romania Dan announced a visit to Ukraine

The President of Romania, Nicusor Dan, will soon arrive in Ukraine for an official visit.

He announced this on the social network X.

He noted that he had a phone conversation with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"I expressed my view to him that we need a comprehensive and lasting peace in Ukraine to stop Russia’s daily crimes. Romania supports President Trump’s efforts toward reaching a solution. The agreement must be fair, long-term, and sustainable. Peace must be achieved with Ukraine at the negotiating table. Romania supports the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Ukraine. As a neighbor and partner, Romania will continue to support Ukraine in all efforts to achieve a just peace for the Ukrainian people. Ukraine’s security is closely linked to the security of the Black Sea and the security of Europe," Dan emphasized.

He also added that he accepted Zelenskyy’s invitation to visit Kyiv this fall.
