Hetmantsev responded to Kuleba’s statement on opening borders for migrants

Hetmantsev responded to Kuleba’s statement on opening borders for migrants
A controversy over demography and migration has arisen in Ukraine.
Yesterday, former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated that the demographic situation in the country could be improved by opening borders to migrants.
"From a positive perspective, nothing is foreseen for our population. The negative trend existed even before the war; no one wants to have children anymore. Therefore, we might have to open the border to migrants from Bangladesh, Nepal, India, the Philippines, Vietnam. They would gladly come," Kuleba noted.
Today, MP from the "Servant of the People" party, Hetmantsev, responded to Kuleba’s statements, criticizing his words.
"People with a different culture, language, religion, and, to be honest, not always with a desire to work, will never solve demographic problems in Ukraine. Or they will solve them in a way that is better to avoid," Hetmantsev stated.
It should be noted that this controversy is taking place against the backdrop of large-scale anti-migrant protests sweeping across Europe. Recently, tens of thousands of people protested against migrants in London, and yesterday, similar protests occurred in the Netherlands.
