Enemy uses everything but nuclear weapons in Avdiivka sector - serviceman

Ukrainian defenders are showing quite positive results in holding positions – the front is not collapsing.

During their attempts to advance in the Avdiivka sector, Russian occupants use mixed tactics and use all weapons available to enemy units. Yuriy Fedorenko ("Achilles"), commander of the attack drone battalion of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, told about this in the project "Observation Post" by military correspondents Natalya Nagorna and Yuliya Kyriyenko.

According to him, last week the enemy launched an assault with the support of armoured vehicles (BMPs, armoured personnel carriers, armoured personnel carriers, tanks) - in columns, as in Avdiivka.

"As a result, the Defence Forces destroyed 22 units of enemy armoured vehicles... There is no success, no success at all. We did not suffer any losses in the Defence Forces during these enemy assaults," the commander noted.

After that, Fedorenko said, the enemy changed its tactics - it was drawn into the area of accumulation in small groups close to the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and tried to conduct attack and assault operations with the support of artillery.

"The tactics are completely mixed. The only thing Ukrainians need to understand and know is not so much the tactics used by the enemy, but that the enemy uses everything it has in service and what it does not, except for nuclear weapons," he said.

At the same time, the military assures that thanks to the united work of the Defence Forces, Ukrainian defenders are showing quite positive results in holding their positions and, according to him, "the front is not objectively falling apart".

"I believe that the second line of defence will be completed in the short term. And this will significantly stop the enemy (if the enemy succeeds somewhere)," he stressed.
