Delegations from 35 countries and the EU’s chief diplomat arrived in Lviv
On May 9, European ministers and diplomats arrived in Lviv. Delegations from 35 countries and the Council of Europe are present.
This is reported with reference to the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha.
Today in Lviv, two important events will take place - a meeting of EU foreign ministers and a Core Group meeting to establish a Special Tribunal for investigating the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
In addition to European ministers and diplomats, EU’s chief diplomat Kaja Kallas and Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal also arrived in Lviv.
The visit began with a tribute at Lychakiv Cemetery to Ukrainian heroes who laid down their lives defending Ukraine from Russian aggression.



Kaja Kallas also shared photos from Lviv on her X (Twitter).
"Today, we celebrate Europe Day together with Ukraine and its people. Together in the family, joy and difficulties are overcome jointly. Shoulder to shoulder with the foreign ministers, we support Ukraine for lasting peace. For a future we believe in," wrote Kallas.
