The Ukrainian information systems connected to the surveillance cameras at the state border have not been hacked.

This was stated by the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko.

«The systems are operating normally. No information about a breach has been reported from the border guards of neighboring countries either — there is no information about any interference with the operation of cameras at the border crossings», — he reported.

With this statement, the State Border Guard Service refuted the information that appeared earlier in some media and social networks about a purported cyberattack on the surveillance system. The border service emphasized that they are constantly monitoring the digital infrastructure’s operation and are ready to respond promptly in case of threats.
